ASSOCIATE/LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR

Associate/Licensed mental health counselor

 

Lake Tapps Counseling is a small private practice located in Lake Tapps, WA and serve the Lake Tapps, Bonney Lake, Sumner, Auburn, Buckley, Puyallup and Enumclaw areas. We are dedicated to providing evidence-based care to reduce suffering and increase the quality of life for children, adults, couples and families in our community.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking full-time and part-time fully licensed or associate licensed clinicians to join Lake Tapps Counseling. This is a great opportunity for an associate level clinician to build hours toward licensure in a private practice setting.

This position can be remote or in-person. Remote therapists are encouraged to apply as we receive many inquiries from distance clients. Candidates must possess a master's degree and Washington State licensure. We are open to LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW (including associates).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters Degree in Social Services field (required)

  • Mental Health Licensure OR Associate licensure

  • Experience and training with specific evidences based trainings working with children, adolescents, families or couples (CBT, DBT, EFT, Gottman, etc)

  • Experience in trauma work is highly desired

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong computer literacy skills

  • Comfortable in both routine and stressful situations

  • Able to complete intakes

  • Ability to work a minimum of 15 client sessions per week.
